Derma Shield is known to protect the skin against everyday workplace skin irritants, including greases, oils, inks, coolants, detergents, solvents, chemicals and paints or from working in outdoor environments. It can be used across a wide range of industrial environments and is safe to use inside gloves. CE marked and manufactured in the UK to Medical Device Standard ISO 13485; Derma Shield is dispensed as a light mousse for quick and easy application. It forms a breathable and waterproof shield over the skin that moisturises, nurtures and protects it for 4 to 5 hours – even when the hands are repeatedly washed. Quickly absorbed by the skin, pharmaceutical-grade moisturisers such as Aloe Vera and Vitamin E promptly get to work, helping maintain the skin's natural moisture balance, allowing it to breathe and perspire normally. As well as preventing the penetration of biological fluids, Derma Shield also controls and prevents dermatitis, helps revive the skin's natural moisture balance and allows the skin to breathe and perspire - especially useful with today's strict hand washing regime.
